I went to the people who have those beautiful magnolia trees in their gardens. Well, in the front garden and going past them on the bike just makes you wish you had your camera. OK! I took my camera and went to the front door and knocked. "Of course you may," was the reply to my request to take photos. And that was followed by an explanation of which kind it was and how old the tree was, etc. It was like I had done her a favour to want to capture her beautiful magnolias.
Here I am sharing some of the result of that expedition, some of those that are left after I reduced my nearly 100 photos to 25 of the better ones. Of course all of them would have been better if I had had a tripod and if the weather had not been so windy. But those were some of the things that could not be overcome this time.
